As a young man, I had two boyhood dreams. One was to grow up and make a living in the great outdoors. The other? Was to run a hunting ranch and surround myself with the people I love so much; other hunters and their families.

Today, both those dreams have been realized as my family and I host the world's greatest group of folks at (what I believe) is the best value in a moderately priced hunting experience.... At Stone Ledge.

For nearly 30 years, I've been blessed to visit many, many fishing and hunting destinations. And at each one of them, I've cherry-picked the best ideas those lodges have to offer. And I've incorporated them at Stone Ledge.

The success at Stone Ledge has been built on more than just quality animals to hunt. It has been built on details and on service. And nobody but nobody will out 'detail us" nor provide better and warmer service.

From warm coffee mugs on a cold Texas morning, private rooms, each with its own bathroom, to magical mattresses and smooth as silk sheets, to fluffy pillows and towels (that feel and smell good) to "twice daily" room service. Yes, twice daily! Our staff is hand picked (by me) and is first class. You have my word on that.

To me, each person who visits and hunts at Stone Ledge is entering our home; the "Warren home" and we will make you feel welcome.

What kind of hunters do we appeal to? Take a listen to some of the folks who are now a part of the Stone Ledge "family". Their photos and telephone calls are here on the on the website. Some took trophy animals on their hunt. Some took average size animals on their hunt. And some took no animal at all. But ALL of them experienced the most dedicated, friendly and professional staff and service possible.

I've had some people tell me that I take things too "personally" and that may be true. But when you hunt at Stone Ledge, with me and my family, the quality of your hunt matters. What you think "matters". And I will do my level best to spoil you and provide you and your family or coworkers with a level of service unparalleled by any other hunting destination that's even close to our price range.

We have great game, a spectacular lodge, more good food and delicious meals and goodies along with a level of personal service that you will never forget.
